Media Resource Centre The latest addition to the Sri Lanka Press Institute is the Media Resource Centre (MRC). The MRC offers a wide range of communication, technological and professional development solutions to government, non-governmental and the corporate sector. Backed by the media industry of Sri Lanka the MRC is to undertake and coordinate all media related events and easily provide logistical support for professional functions. Situated in the heart of Colombo and accessible by bus and train the MRC is the ideal venue for business meetings/workshops/seminars and all forms of professional interaction. Auditorium: Fully air conditioned and multimedia equipped auditorium provides you all the logistical requirement you may want to conduct your next meeting/workshop/seminar or any form of business interaction. The auditorium can accommodate eighty participants. 24/7 high speed Wi-Fi internet facility allows you to keep in touch with the outside world while you are engaged in business. Additionally, the MRC provides skilled competent expertise on handling and managing events through secretarial and coordinating services offered at competitive rates.

Audio Visual equipment and Productions: The MRC provides audio video production facilities with competitive rates at its very own, state of the art Television and Radio studios. Audiovisual editing facilities are available at your disposal with or without service. The MRC also hires its modern audio video equipment for outside productions. Computer Laboratories: Updated computer labs with high speed internet facilities are available for classroom activity, video conferences and workshops with technical support from the dedicated staff of the MRC.

Computers with specific software installed are also available on demand. Services: The MRC offers a wide range of services under one roof to meet your deadline in a result guaranteed manner. Some of the services we offer are developing and conducting training for media related activities, secretarial and coordination of events, audio video productions, IT consultancy, Translation, design and printing and consultations on media handling.
