SLPI conducts training to Civil Soceity on Right to Information Act (RTI) in Matara District

The Sri Lanka Press Institute (SLPI) as part of its on-going Right to Information (RTI) awareness program in the country, this week conducted its training in Sinhala for the Civil Soceity in the Matara District. The sessions held on the 1st of August 2017 at Sarasi Hotel Matara, consisted 30 participants from the Matara district. The program is designed to promote the use of the RTI Act, communicate the Act in a simplified manner, the benefits of the law and practical issues when requesting for information.
