For the last few weeks SLPI has been visiting journalists in the provinces and have discussed with them the issues of elections reporting and the need to be impartial about the same. The training was conducted in Polonaruwa, Batticaloa, Vavuniya and Kurunegala. Further training on improving the capacity of journalists on the same will be done in Matara and Colombo in the coming weeks.
